Residence Inn Arlington-Ballston

Part of the overall Founders Square development in Arlington and located adjacent to Ballston Commons Mall, the 157,000 square foot hotel will serve as extended-stay hotel destination for the bustling Arlington-Ballston area. To accommodate the guests and the typical services associated with a Residence Inn, the exterior courtyard was designed to allow outdoor catering and services while creating a relaxing atmosphere with its firepit and seating area. The contemporary design of the hotel was extended to the exterior spaces, allowing for additional function space and a casual garden area outside the conference rooms. The hotel was completed in 2013. David Lesiuk performed as senior landscape architect and oversaw as aspects of the design and production documents.
